The Bremen Town-Musicians

The Bremen Town-Musicians is a story about four animals facing unpleasant forced retirements. Their solution is a journey to Bremen, where they hope to become town-musicians. Along the way, circumstances change their plans. Can they find a good way to live out their elder years? Find out in this Grimm’s fairy tale for narrator and brass quintet.

This is part of the Once Upon an Orchestra series featuring musicians from the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Aaron Collins, Director. Admission to McKee Botanical Gardens is required.

This set of pieces would be a welcome addition to a recital program, and the texts are also appropriate for worship use.
